Pure Benzaldehyde is colorless transparent liquid with almond-like odor. In China, we have naturally extracted Benzaldehyde, but the most common is synthetic benzaldehyde which is 99.5%min in purity. It is slightly soluble in water and soluble in almost all organic solvents such as benzene,alcohol,ether and chloroform etc.

Compared with natural benzaldehyde, synthetic benzaldehy has much advantages on price and wide scope of application. Its main use is as a flavoring agent (flavor & fragrance) in food, pharma, cosmetic, pigment and other industries.
