Potassium butylxanthate (CAS 871-58-9),a white crystal,can easily soluble in water. It is excellent industrial solvents with low toxicity and have strong solubility for polar and unpolar materials, which can be used for advanced paints, printing inks as well as some other polymers, including amido, methyl ester, ethyl, polyester, cellulose acetate, glycol acid resin, crylic acid resin, epoxy resin and nitrocellulose etc.

Application

Potassium butyl xanthate PBX is a most powerful collector with strong selectivity,widely used in the flotation treatment of sulfide ores,zinc ores and nickel ores,especially for the flotation treatment of Cu-Ni compound sulfide ore as well as gold mine associated with pyrite.it can also get satisfactory results when used in lead oxide copper ores.commonly used in the process of rough flotation and scavenging flotation.
