BCDMH, chemical name 1- -5,5- two -3- chlorine bromine methyl hydantoin, molecular formula C5H6BrClN2O2, exists in white powder or tablets, is a disinfectant of specific performance, mainly used for industrial water treatment , disinfection of flower and seed, sterilization and preservatives of aquaculture, fresh fruit and other aspects.

BCDMH can release Br- ion and Cl-ion continuously after dissolving in water, and form HOBr and HOCl which have strong oxidation. The oxidation can achieve the sterilization purpose by oxidizing the biological enzyme.

Application

BCDMH is a kind of disinfectant of specific performance, used as disinfection of industrial water treatment and mineral bath water disinfection. For indoor and outdoor swimming pool disinfection only 1-2ppm can achieve the desired effect.It can also be used for various water treatment disinfection,disinfection and deodorization of toilet, bleaching, flower and seed disinfection, sterilization of aquaculture, fresh fruit etc.
