Camphor has natural camphor and synthetic camphor. Natural camphor is extracted from plants directly often 100% pure. Synthetic camphor powder exists in white crystalline powder, has a special spicy fragrance, soluble in ethanol, ethyl ether, chloroform and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in water. The proportion of 0.99, the pure product melting point 179 C boiling point of 209 DEG C, the flash point of 52 DEG C, the explosion limit of 0.6-3.5%, the ignition point of 375 DEG C.

Camphor powder is volatile at room temperature, formerly used in pest control, anti-corrosion etc, has been used in medicine, national defense, but it is very flammable in case of fire contact.

Caution to Camphor

Camphor is a flammable substance; It can burn in case of contacting oxidants. Ignition point of 50 degrees Celsius, 375 degrees celsius self ignition. Production facilities must be strictly observed. Workshop should be ventilated. When camphor on fire, please use the water mist, carbon dioxide, dry powder, sand to put off fire. The camphor steam in the air should not be more than 3 mg / cubic meter, otherwise, it may hurt people's nerves.

Application

1) Natural camphor powder is a kind of medicinal herbs extracted from natural plants. It does not contain isoborneol ingredients harmful to the human body, and more efficient than other borneol (Natural Borneol and synthetic borneol L).

2) Synthetic camphor powder uses:  In plastic industry used as plasticizer in celluloid manufacturing and PVC etc. In defense industry used as a smokeless explosive explosion stabilizer and reducing agent. In medicine used as a tonic, analgesics, preservatives, pesticides, such as clothes made of camphor ball, ball mothproofer etc.
