Calcium nitrate(CAS 13477-34-4),a kind of colorless transparent monoclinic crystal, easily soluble in water,methanol and ethanol, and is deliquescent in the air,Calcium nitrate is also an oxidant, and so is combustible and explosive to organic substances and sulfur. It can be used as soilless culture in agriculture, fertilizer with quick result for acid soil. Used in producing fireworks and lampshade in light industry.and in producing dynamite in national defense industry, in coating cathode. And it is also the materials for producing other nitrates.

Application
