O-phenylenediamine CAS:95-54-5, also known as 1,2-diaminobenzene, 1,2-phenylenediamine. Precipitated from the water to white to pale yellow leaf-like crystals, precipitated from chloroform as prismatic crystals. Exposed to the air is easy to change color, from white to yellow, brown, purple, and finally turned black. Relative density of 1.2698. Melting point 103 ~ 104 ℃. The boiling point of 256 ~ 258 ℃. Slightly soluble in cold water (4.15 at 35 ℃), soluble in hot water (733 at 81 ℃), ethanol, ether, chloroform and benzene.
